There is a continuous evaluation of the postgraduate student during clinical work and therapy planning. The postgraduate programme is evaluated each semester in a public presentation of a seminar for an invited audience.
In the final examination the postgraduate student presents 30 well treated cases for the programme director. The postgraduate programme is then evaluated by an external examiner from another postgraduate institute.
Patient management and evaluation of treatment
All patients whose treatment has been completed are asked to fill in a treatment evaluation regarding how they experienced both the outcome and the communication and information during the treatment.
Quality and patient managementare are assesed according to SWED-QUAL, which is a nationally prepared quality follow-up. It includes evaluation of treatment outcomes with patient questionnaires and an ICON improvement grade. Other parameters such as emergency visits are also studied regularly.
